From your first Sunday to a finished manuscript

Modern Witness is built as one continuous journey through the Bible: 156 messages in 40 series across three years: from an on-ramp series for new believers, through the patriarchs, prophets, gospels, and epistles, ending with the gospel shining out of David's broken house.

Everyone preaches one shared three-year cycle, no setup, no picking a year. Your dashboard opens on this week's message, and the calendar keeps seasonal series where they belong: Holy Week at Easter, Emmanuel in December, Valentines in February. Join whenever you like and you simply pick up wherever the cycle is now.

The Preaching Calendarshows all three years, month by month, every Sunday accounted for. "This week" is always highlighted, and your progress (drafts, completed manuscripts) shows on every page. Occasionally a calendar year has 53 Sundays: the calendar marks that one extra week as an open Sunday: a built-in slot for a guest speaker, a testimony night, or a one-off message.

Prefer to roam? The Libraryorganizes everything by year and series. Every series has its own page explaining the arc: what it covers, where it's headed, and why, so you can preach the journey or jump to what your church needs.

Open any message and you'll find the builder, five steps, one for each COBRA move. Every step works the same way:

The question comes first. At the top of each step is a prompt written to you: "When have you felt unseen or written off?" Your answer, typed into the writing space below it, becomes that section of your manuscript.

The scaffold sits beside you.Alongside your writing space is the teaching scaffold: the big idea, context, key verses, movements through the text, and mentor-style prompts. It's reference material, not a script: use what fits, adapt freely, ignore the rest.

Everything saves itself.A moment after you stop typing, your work is saved, you'll see "Saved" with the time in the header. Work three weeks ahead on a Tuesday, add one paragraph on a Thursday; it's a journal that keeps up with you, from any device.

After the fifth step, hit Generate manuscript. Your five answers assemble into one document: title, passage, scheduled date, big idea, and every section you've written, with a word count and an estimate of how long it preaches.

From there, three ways out the door:

Download Word exports a clean .docx of your manuscript: print it, file it, share it with your team, or feed it to your slide-building workflow. Print / PDF does the same through your browser. Preach mode turns any device into a pulpit copy: your manuscript alone, in large adjustable type, with the screen kept awake while you preach.

When the message is delivered, mark it complete: your calendar and library fill in as you go, and three years from now you'll have a shelf of 156 manuscripts in your own voice.
